The duct-free multi-zone split can handle as many rooms as you want, thanks to multiple air handler units working with a single outdoor compressor unit. The temperature for each handler can be different, depending on the occupant’s preference. (However, simultaneously using heat in one room and cooling in another won’t work.)

Each zone covers 300 square feet or less – a room about 10 feet by 30 feet, for example.
